On December 3, 2015 the shire had its monthly business meeting. During this meeting several issues were discussed concerning the future of Silver Rylle. As some off you may know, we have had a nightmare of a time trying to get the signatures updated with the bank. Along with several other headaches in dealing with the exchequer position, Jennifer has decided to step down effective immediately. We thank her for her efforts and understand the stress the position can put on one familiar with the organization, let alone a new comer who stepped up for the shire when we needed it. This leaves us with no exchequer. In addition to this the shire has been struggling to keep active for sometime now.
Keeping this in mind your officers have unanimously approved a call for vote to start the process of changing the shire’s status from active to inactive. We know that this affects more than those present at the meeting, so to make sure everyone has a chance to be heard the official vote to continue proceeding down this path will take place at the January 7, 2016 meeting. This decision was not easy for any of us, but we don’t feel that there is enough interest in the area to keep Silver Rylle active.
