Publication Permission Forms

Anyone who wishes for something that they have created to be published on this website, whether an article, a poem, a drawing, a photograph, or any other creative work, will need to sign a form giving the website permission to publish it.

To give permission to publish a single work (like a poem) or a single group of related works (like "photos taken at Twelfth Night"), please print a copy of this form, fill it out, and sign it. That form may also be used for publishing things in the Cross Currents. On the other hand, if you would like to become a regular contributor to the website, for example if you plan to submit several articles or to commonly provide photos from events, you may want to fill out a copy of this form instead, which lets you give a blanket release for the entire project at once, rather than each event requiring its own permission form. In either case, please get the completed forms to me.

Model Release Forms

We do not require model release forms, that is, documents signed by the people in a photograph giving us permission to publish their likeness. Instead, we ask that anyone who appears in a photo they do not want published on our website, would contact us, and we will remove it. When the photographer filled out their publication permission form, if they checked the checkbox that grants "permission to crop or otherwise alter this picture", we can do that rather than removing the photo from the website entirely.

Event Forms

The Autocrat Committee is working on producing a number of documents that will be of use to Autocrats and other people who are planning events.

Please look at their work in progress here, and give your feedback to the Autocrat Committee Chairwoman at autocrat_chair (at) silverrylle (dot) eastkingdom (dot) org . The documents are presently in Wordpad format: this may change for computer compatibility reasons.
