Danabren Madadh-Mara/Dwynwen of Padstow is a well-traveled woman of late 12th century Cornwall, who has visited St. Paul’s in London, St. Peter’s in Rome, and the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. She is now happily ensconced on her manor pursuing her love of the arts, primarily sewing, millinery, and illumination, but who supports them all while terrorizing husband and servants alike.
