Bio for Jayme Hume of Berwyk

I am Jayme Hume, formerly of Berwyk. My father was John and my mother Mhairead de Home. I was born on the 24th day of June in the Year of our Lord 1263. My line is descended from the earls of Dumbar and March, also of the great Kings of the Saxons.

I'm the 4th son of John and Mhairead. The eldest son, along with my father, support the English in the ongoing Scottish war. The second son has disappeared: we know not where he has gone. My third brother is, of course, in the Church. My support is for Scotland in the War of Independence.

I was sent to Spain after we lost the battle of Falkirk in 1298, to try to drum up support for Scottish Independence. While doing this, I fell in love with a Spanish lass and we are raising a wee bairn.

We've received word recently that William Wallace, the great guardian of Scotland, has been murdered by Longshanks, and so in the spring of this year I shall return to Scotland to help my land fight for its freedom.
